DJ and Sam

DJ and I went to Oregon State together in Corvallis. He and Sam (who also met in Corvallis) were super patient and flexible in understanding that I had been living in South Dakota at the time of them contacting me about photographing their wedding in Oregon. Turned out that our dates aligned perfectly and I was welcomed with open arms by Sam, DJ, and their wonderful friends and family! Thanks so much for everything fellas and I am so lucky to have been apart of your special day!

*As a relative said, it was not just a gay wedding, but just a wedding between two people who loved each other. I am so glad that we have FINALLY seen marriage equality in the United States. I could not think of a better way to celebrate than with these wonderful people.

If anyone who was in attendance at the wedding is interested in ordering prints, please feel free to check out the full online gallery here:

Alex & Mike

Alex and Mike are from my wonderful small town of Scappoose. Our friendships didn't really take off until after college had ended though! I a so excited to be sharing photos from their special day!

Kelsey, Brandon, and Sawyer.

I met Kelsey, Brandon and their daughter Sawyer in Founders Park in lovely Rapid City, South Dakota! All four of us are recent transplants to the Black Hills region and I could not have had a better time running around this lovely park with this fantastic family for my first shoot here. Sawyer was adorable in her trendy outfit, but was way more interested in exploring and adventuring than having her picture taken! We got some great shots of this little one and she definitely kept me on my toes. So great to meet you all and enjoy this warm October weather!

Valerie & Corey

What a lovely day for a wedding! I was delighted when an old friend Val expressed interest in my photographing her wedding to her fiancee Corey. We spent an awesome and spirited day in Salem in a big beautiful church, ran around the steps of our great state capitol and finished up at a local restaurant. I wish Corey and Val a lifetime of happiness!
